Our Team

A man in a black hoodie and a cap is working on a construction wall, attaching a sheet of material. He is on a wooden platform with power tools nearby, and sunlight is casting shadows.

Tim Ritchie

I grew up in Richmond, VT on a small farm.  My father has a small sugar house where I have been sugaring with him since I was small. I was always helping him fix things around the house and barn and so I grew up with a love of working with wood.

I have been fortunate to be able to work with my hands my whole life. I harvested wood from our land and built my own house with the wood. I love to put aside the nice Live Edge slabs of wood and build benches, picture frames, tables etc. for my house and for clients. Building has been a passion of mine.

I really love all the parts of building from frame to finish.

A man wearing a backward baseball cap and gray t-shirt is using a nail gun to attach horizontal wooden planks to a house exterior wall. The wall is covered with a weather-resistant barrier with blue markings. The man is outdoors, with trees and a partly cloudy sky visible in the background.

Sawyer Ladensack

Sawyer’s love for woodworking started when he was young. He was always eager to join the Live Edge team from his early years, hanging around the job site, learning whatever he could until he was old enough to work.

Since then, he’s grown into a true craftsman, loving his trade, having a good time doing it, and bringing high energy to the job site.
